Where Is The Humility?

The fact that these two men are so successful that they need no introduction, that they are indeed famous, says something about the America of today. Sure America is a porno cult of personalities and needs its supply of people to feed the 24/7 media machinations of celebrity, but these two? Prudes. Oh they use(d) drugs and fundamental ideologies to block out their realities, but they underline the pervasive net of fear that exists within our society. White men running this country is a thing of the past. A new multi-cultural mix is self evident in the young people you see on our city streets and these two pander for control of a society whose racial bedrock has shifted under their feet. And so? They are bombastic and yell alot, thinking that they know the truth and want to point us in it's direction. And Truth? Is it not a living thing connected to all and everything? Love, beauty, death, and truth all facets of the same Life? That which is One? Native American Indians lived their lives more fully in harmony with America than the white man ever did, and these two white men represent our fears. They stand for thought trying to control the uncontrolable, and within the shallowness of their ideologies and philosophies, they both have become American icons. They don't live, they tell others how to live. They feed their followers only dead words. They are our examples, for they show us what is dead.
